An automation mod had been added to the server: Basic Machines. Let's hope it will be a good thing. Meanwhile the spawn rate of better_fauna had been nerfed down considerably. Also adding the bonemeal mod because the petz mod is compatible.

Recently there had been many little changes in the server: Foremost, an in-house modded version of the yolo mod, but instead of permadeath is just a temporal 10 minutes ban from xban2's api, in this way dying has consequences and makes the survival part more intense. Bones are activated and set to 20 minutes until they'll became 'old'.
New mobs too, Petz had been great and not so heavy on the server as thought it would, so I have a hunch that it will stay. Better_fauna and wildlife got another chance yet the spawn rate is still a problem. Cube_mobs got back too, but with an improved and less overbearing spawn rate, pheew... Things that probably will go away soon: The whole mana thing, carpet, teleport potions and devices, etc. Mostly because they aren't craftable. A teleport option would be great, but the usual 'travelnet' mod is not a good option, not very survival-like, in my opinion it's very over-powered for a survival server. So expect more changes soon! Seems like the Survivoros-V5 server had been running fine so far after many days of setting things up and tweaking stuff, rules update, new DNS url at survivoros.serveminecraft.net and some people had been using it regularly. But It's still a work in progress and testing keeps going, so expect changes and probable instability. Things to try soon: Better mobkit mobs like Petz, gemstone ores for weapons and armor, etc... Also trimming it down a little by deleting superfluous or redundant mods, so no more titanium. Less is more, more is less.
